This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see The Truman Library permanent exhibits and the limited engagement Special Exhibition, The Story of Us.
You’ll see nearly two dozen rare historic documents on loan from the National Archives. The exhibition brings America’s founding ideals to life and traces how they have been tested, challenged and expanded over 250 years. Enjoy this short video, courtesy of Harry S. Event: Truman Library Excursion

All tickets must be paid in full prior to the 8:30 AM bus departure on May 20.

Step 2: Complete payment using one of the following methods:

Wednesday–Saturday: 11 AM–4 PM Sunday: 1 PM–4 PM - Or, arrive early at the bus departure location on May 20 and pay by credit card, check, or cash
(Bus departure location is the city parking lot next to City Hall at the bottom of Main Street)
There are two reservation options, Gold Coach Bus or On your Own.
Gold Coach – “Leave the driving to us”
- $100 per person
- Capacity: 50 guests
- Departs Weston at 8:30 AM
- Includes transportation, admission to the Truman Library, and a catered box lunch
- Departs Truman Library at 3:30 PM
- Estimated return to Weston by 4:30 PM
- Complimentary champagne served on the return trip
On Your Own Option
- $50 per person (limit 100 tickets)
- Arrange your own transportation
- Arrive at the Truman Library (500 W. U.S. Highway 24, Independence, MO) around 9:30 AM and check in with a Weston Historical Museum representative
- Includes admission and a catered box lunch
- Enjoy the exhibits at your own pace; the museum closes at 5 PM
